Watched I Spy last night which had me in stitches, not the greatest film however it does have it’s moments. Worth watching since there is not much else out at the moment unless you want to sit through Gangs of New York.
Eddie Murphy gets a few laughs though I guess he will never be as funny as he was in the 80’s. Though it is quite funny that this remake has very little to do with the original TV series, which featured Bill Cosby. Apparently Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are going to be reviving Starsky and Hutch, one of the few things I can remember from the 70’s. Having watched the repeats on Bravo and UK Gold I fear the outcome.

Saw 8 Mile last night, thought it was a reasonably good film. I can seen why Eminem has received acclaim for his role in this film, though I would have to say that the film is slighty overrated, though still worth watching since there is little else to see. (I know Gangs of New York is out, gonna see it next week. Wanted something more lightweight this Friday night thats all.)
The story is of Bunny Rabbit(Eminem) a rapper trying to break into the big time via the route of the Battles Scene in Detroit. I did wonder if Eminen himself was from Detroit, since you don’t typically associate Detroit with rap, Usually New York as being the rap center of the East Coast, and of course L.A. as the center of the West Coast.
Any how rap is used only as an instrument of the plot, it is not the center piece of the film. So those of you that have been put off by the rap element of the film, should still consider watching 8 Mile.

Went bowling with the crowd from work last night, check out the pics. Fun as usual. Scored Two Doubles in the first game, it sort of went down hill after the second, though I should stress playing 4 games in one night is quite tough, my arms are acheing even now.

Apple just announced two more PowerBooks, a little sub-notebook which is smaller than my current iBook, and a big 17 Inch model which is basically a cool desktop replacement. Check out Apple’s site.
Nintendo have also announced that they are releasing an updated version of the Gameboy Advance, which features a backlit display. At last I can see what I’m doing. Gotta get me one of these babies when they come out in March/April time.

First post of the year, got nothing interesting to say yet haven’t been up to much except for doing a bit of shopping in Central London, boy do I hate London when it overcrowded, only a couple of months to go before Congestion Charging is introduced, is it me or is the whole Congestion Charging scheme flawed.
