Just watched Matrix Reloaded, wow still digesting some of the scenes in my mind will post a more detailed post about what I thought. I had a prior hint about sticking around till the end credits and watched the Revolutions teaser as well.

until Matrix Reloaded is out. Well actually it supposed to be out tomorrow but only some places are showing it tomorrow night, so I booked tickets for the thursday instead.
I was just sitting here cleaning up my database (like you do), I just happened to catch V Graham Norton which happened to have Lucy Lawless (Xena) on. Any how Graham in his usual style managed to find a site about making Xena costume.
Conveniently he had one prepared for the show. Graham then asked for a volunteer to try the costume on and re-make the Xena intro. Now at this point you know that someone will definately come forward, a normal person would expect some Xena like babe to jump up, but no. Some guy stuck his hand up, now I can only describe this guy like someone from a Mr Muscle ad.
What followed I can only describe as the funniest thing I have seen on TV in a long time. This guy started prancing around the stage doing he Xena poses. Now the filming of the sequence was quite plain, but when they cut the scenes together and added the music. What can I say, except it was just amazing.
Went to see Old School last night, it was hilarious. I was quite surprised to see the combination of Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Vince Vaughn work so well. Will Ferrell’s character ‘Tank’ was great, he basically stole the film in his scenes.
The film is immature and silly throughout and is much better than most college boy yarns. But is a definate must see.
My DSL transfer has finally completed and I can use my plus.net hosting account, so I should have the site up again in a couple of days. Just need to finish exporting the remaining blogger.com entries.
The transition to Movable Type has been fairly straight forward, though I had to deal with the complications of the plus.net server setup. Since static content directories and cgi directories are actually on different hosts, thankfully I have come up with solution with the aid of ZoneEdit and will test it properly tomorrow. Still have to hack my additional PHP pages as well. Should probably update the content as well.
Just got the new Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda : The Wind Waker, this is probably one of the slickest games I have ever seen. The animation is just superb, the cell shading technique Nintendo has used is just extraordinary, the little details they have managed to squeeze in are just amazing. I’m still only a little way in to the game, but from what I have seen I have to say this is probably Nintendo’s best title to date.
In the box are two extra Zelda titles, which are ports of the N64 Zelda titles ‘The Ocarina of Time’ and the previously unreleased ‘Ocarina of Time : Master Quest’, (which I guess got dropped because it’s basically the same game with some extras. Instead Nintendo released Majorca’s Mask.) When I say port I really do mean it, they have not updated any of the in-game controller information, instead a little instruction screen is given when the game is loaded. The game is a perfect conversion I wonder if Nintendo wrote a N64 emulator for the Gamecube because thats exactly what it seems to be. Does anyone know?
If such a thing exists then imagine a GDROM with a compilation of a few classic N64 games.
Watched X-Men 2 last night, I’m still recovering. The best film of the
summer so far though I suspect I will be saying the same thing in about
three weeks time when Matrix Revolutions comes out. I think Singer and
co have done a brilliant job. Fans and casual viewers alike will be
drawn in by the story and characters, a definate must see.
The X-Men 2 marketing machine has gone into overdrive, was looking at the
listing for the weekend on satelite, MTV have got features and ‘Making
of’ programs running over the weekend. Sky Movies are doing a Comic
Heroes Day, they are showing Stan Lee’s Mutants, Monsters And Marvels which I have been meaning to get on DVD, but have been put off for some reason or other. Well now I can tape it, and decide if it is worth getting.
