Watched The Hulk last night. Let me say from the outset that I was expecting greatestness from this film since Ang Lee directed it. Being slightly disappointed with Matrix Reloaded I was trying to keep my expectations in check, however I should not have doubted Mr Lee.
The Hulk is the best film of the summer, X-Men 2 was great, Matrix Reloaded was good, the Hulk is simply the best. Acting wise Nick Nolte stole it for me, his last film The Good Thief was also great. Jennifer Connelly was good though it was hardly a testing role for her. Eric Bana did a good job as well. If you have not seen Chopper then you should definately check it out (HMV have had it in their Indie £5.99 series since Christmas, a must buy.). Bana’s role as the slick Navy SEAL in Black Hawk Down was what brought him to the mainstream. I think we will be seeing more good things from him in the future, he is already starring along side Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom in Troy, Wolfgang Petersen’s next film.
T3 is due out in 2 weeks now I don’t think it will be amazing, however I have been a very big fan of the Terminator concept since the first film probably has something to do with the fact that it was the first 18 movie I managed to see in the cinema.
