Decided on Friday that I would use my holidays in early August to visit the Linux Expo in San Francisco. Spent most of Friday evening and today surfing around and visiting travel agents in the hope to secure a flight. Such is my luck that I can’t find anything which is reasonably priced, by reasonable I mean much less than £1000.
Since the cheapest offer I have seen has been around £700 I thought I might as well make a trip of it an visit LA as well. So far the best offer price I have seen is from STA offering an Air France flight for £788. However when ever I click through to book the whole site just freezes, regardless of which browser I use. Going to have to go to the STA in Covent Garden in the morning.
