Whilst in America I think I got a little carried away with the shopping. I ended up buying about 13 DVD, 5 CD Albums, Mario Kart and a broadband adaptor for the GameCube. Bought a whole load of clothes and gifts as well. Looking forward to trying out Warp Pipe so that I can play Mario Kart online, will have to get Freeloader first, so I can play foreign GD-Disks in GameCube.
The DVD highlights are definately Lost In Translation and American Splendor. The other DVDs I bought where mainly old stuff for the collection I wanted simply because they where available compartively cheaper than the UK. Got one of my favourite childhood flicks The Last Starfighter, was also after however it’s not out till the 3rd February, will just have to order it from playusa.com in a couple of weeks.
As for CD’s picked up the special edition of Aimee Mann’s Lost in Space, since it has the live concert recordings, and includes her version of Coldplay’s The Scientist which is pretty damn good, then again it is a pretty good song in the first place.
Appartently it is going to get colder here in the UK, it’s even going to snow tomorrow. It’s the same weather front from Canada that hit New York whilst I was there, it’s following me!
