Well almost a month has pasted since my last entry, much has happened in the past couple of weeks. To start with some weeks ago my uncle passed away, he had been suffering from cancer for a number of years, his condition had worsened over the last couple of months utlimately resulting in a stroke. So that week was spent up in Bradford with family and friends. I don’t go up to Bradford as much as I used to, It was strange seeing some old friends up there after a number of years. Will be heading back up to Bradford in a couple of weeks time when my dad gets back from Pakistan
On the rest of life things are ticking along, busy with work, hard at play. Still preparing for the big 2.6 release at the Storage Expo next week, a little worried about the stand and the show, hopefully everything will go well.
On the movie front went and saw Collateral which I thought was excellent, so much so that I went and watched it again last week. Also caught Hero some weeks back, which was good however it will obviously draw comparisons with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon which I think is a little unfair. Hero is a good film however there are elements of repitition and slow scenes, however the cinematography is great and the story is okay.
On the DVD front finally got the Star Wars DVD boxed set, the picture quality is amazing and the extras are good, especially the Episode 3 preview. Also got the Clerks 10 Year Anniversary Edition a couple of days ago, which I have not watched yet.
