It was my birthday yesterday, I’m now 28 years old. Only 2 years left till the big 3-0. Knocked a couple of things of the list, however not much as I hoped. Of course the list has also grown a little bit, some things have also increased in priority.
I must buy a house soon, I know I have been saying that for the last 2 years, however due to stability concerns (and hoping for a crash) I pretty much had to wait it out. However I’m now at the point were I must take some action. So this week I will start looking for a place again, the last time I was looking I was not enjoying it at all. However this time around due to working in Egham my list of prospective areas is quite good, however generally speaking Surrey is not exactly cheap. My ideal location is still Hampton, I can’t explain why.
Have been thinking about the APR days a lot recently, some things don’t really change from one place to the other, also I think some of the lack of fulfiment from work is raising their head again. The variation of work is something I have always loved, however I think I need a long section of concentrating on a single task. Hopefully things will get calmer, however they never do. Which I guess is a good thing, but of course has side effects. Don’t really have any time to play with new tech as I would like too, I have plenty of ideas, however I had zero time to experiment thanks to 12 hour days, and working at weekends. Will hopefully be able to wrangle a week of some time soon, will probably just sleep.
