Found myself stuck in Newcastle with not much to do, so I figured I could kill some time by dropping into the local cinema. Was in the mood for watching something not so serious, so I elected to watch Slither over 16 Blocks. The film was way better than I was expecting, it stars Nathan Fillion of Firefly and Elizabeth Banks from the Spiderman man films. The biggest name in the cast has to be Michael Rooker, who plays the host for the alien entity. Even tough the majority of scens are meant to be funny it is actuallyy quite gruesome in places. The acting is done well, the plot is solid and the flow is just right.
